Privacy
How this app handles your information. Short version: we don't collect it.
Who we are
This app is published by A Picker's Rock, a rocks, crystals and minerals shop located inside Picker Joe's, 66 W. Montgomery Cross Road, Savannah, Georgia. You can reach us through our Facebook or Instagram pages.
Your birth date
The Birthday Crystal Finder is optional. Your birth month, day and optional year are processed only on your device, in your browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and they are never sold or shared. If you tick “Remember on this device”, the date is saved in your browser's local storage on that device only; tap Clear in the finder (or clear your browser's site data) to delete it at any time.
Analytics, ads and tracking
This app uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies. We don't build profiles or collect personal information.
Offline storage
To load quickly and work with a weak signal, the app keeps a copy of pages and images you've viewed in your browser's cache (a “service worker”). That cache stays on your device. “Check for updates” in the menu refreshes it.
Hosting
The app is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don't receive or use that data to identify you. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
Links to other sites
Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and Picker Joe's website open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Children
The app doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page. Last updated October 30, 2026.
